Last night I had a dream that Madeline Kahn was still dead, but she was also still in movies? There were at least two but one I remember was The Artist. She was in the Artist. And I tend to think that she has a habit of just MAKING any movie she’s in, and in The Artist as well as this other film that I think I just created out of my own imagination, she kept saying these really hilarious things that I sadly can’t remember. But it was great. She had aged, and looked older, but had the same spark she always had and was as witty as ever.

I think I had this dream because earlier in the day I was thinking about how her humor would fit right in with the comedy of today. She was just so versatile and flawless and funny and I think even after all those years in the game she’d still be kicking it with the best of them, working all the time creating wonderful things and beautifully hysterical characters.
